Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FoodHaul app and website (the "Service"), operated by FoodHaul ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must provide accurate information and comply with all applicable laws.
2. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, captions, comments, reviews, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant FoodHaul a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You represent that you have the rights to your User Content and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
3. Acceptable use & zero tolerance for objectionable content
FoodHaul has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, violent, or that depicts or promotes harm; and not to impersonate others, spam, or misuse the Service. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Reporting & blocking
You can report objectionable content or abusive users through the reporting tools available in the app, or by emailing doug.mckay84@gmail.com. You can also block users so their content and interactions are hidden from you. We review reports and act on them — including removing content and ejecting abusive users — within 24 hours where appropriate.
5. Third-party content & links
The Service may display links to, or content from, third parties (such as restaurant websites or social platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, and your use of it may be subject to their terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by FoodHaul and protected by law. Except for your User Content, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our permission.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FoodHaul and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold FoodHaul harmless from claims arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
